Is it a garden cinema room?
It is more than a garden cinema. Films look extraordinary on the 140° wrap-around screen with cinema-grade sound, and the same pod is a live sports arena, a concert hall, a games room, a calm space and a garden office. One garden building, every night out.
Do I need planning permission or building regs?
Usually neither. Every size is 2.5m high and designed to sit within permitted development, so most gardens need no planning permission. Building regulations do not normally apply either: Halo 4 is exempt outright, and Halo 5 and Halo 6 are exempt when sited at least one metre from your boundary. The electrical connection is always certified by a registered electrician. We confirm all of this for your garden in the site survey before anything is ordered.
Who prepares the base and the power?
We can take care of it. Choose managed site preparation and we survey your garden, design the base and power run, and appoint one of our vetted groundworks partners at a fixed price confirmed by the survey. The tiled base, power, connectivity and drainage are ready before your pod arrives. Prefer your own builder? We provide the full specification and stay on hand.
What do I need to prepare?
A level garden base, prepared by your groundworker to our simple specification before delivery, the same as any quality garden building. We provide the drawings and guidance, and we take it from there.
How long does installation take?
The pod is built and finished off-site, then craned into position. It is typically installed, calibrated and working the same day.
Which size should I choose?
The name is the number: Halo 4, 5 and 6 host up to four, five and six guests on luxury bean-bag seating. Sofa seating is designed central-first, so everyone sits square to the wrap-around screen, from a cosy two-seater in every size to a four-seat recliner in Halo 6. Every experience level fits every size, so a grand pod can keep it casual and a compact pod can carry the flagship kit.
Will the picture make me feel queasy?
No. The projection is dynamic: you choose how far the picture wraps, from classic widescreen to the full wrap, so every guest watches at their own comfort level.
Can I watch in the daytime?
Yes. The glazing is tinted, and concealed electric blackout blinds glide down from the roofline at the touch of a button or a word, so a Saturday matinee looks as rich as a midnight premiere. Blinds up, the pod is a bright, beautiful garden room.
Can I control it with my voice?
Yes. Say \u201cHey Halo\u201d and the pod listens: start a film, dim the lights, drop the blinds or set a mood without reaching for a phone. Voice processing runs locally in the pod and there is a physical microphone switch for complete privacy.
Can I watch Sky, Apple TV or Blu-ray?
Yes, everything you already watch. Sky, Apple TV 4K, Blu-ray and games consoles all connect as normal and play on a huge, perfectly calibrated widescreen at the centre of the curve, pixel for pixel. The full wrap comes alive with worlds and experiences mastered for it through Nexus+, and you choose how far the picture reaches.
What is Nexus+?
The care and content package that keeps your pod at its best: the library of immersive worlds, continuous software updates, an annual on-site service and calibration visit, and priority support. an annual subscription, with your first year included.
What warranty do I get?
A 5-year warranty on the shell and workmanship. The cinema equipment carries its manufacturers’ warranties, and Nexus+ keeps everything calibrated and up to date.
When can I see one?
Launch viewing events are planned ahead of Spring 2027. Register your interest and we will invite you to book a viewing as soon as dates are confirmed.
